KDA Employees Union CBA demands for immediate cancellation of salaries stoppage order
KDA Employees Union CBA office bearers expressed deep concern about the issue of recruitment in KDA and demands immediate cancellation of the order of stoppage of salaries of old employees.
An emergency meeting of KDA Employees Union CBA was held at CBA office under the chairmanship of KDA Employees Union Patron in Chief Syed Imran Hussain Jafari in which union have taken a strong stand into the said matter.
President CBA Muhammad Abdul Maroof said that the salary freeze order should have to be cancelled immediately.
CBA is against the practice of including former employees in the list of suspect employees and they should be removed from the list immediately snd Opening the Pandora’s Box of the past will quell current fraud, he added.
He stated that CBA recommends that the order of stop pay of the employees should be cancelled and the order of release of pay should be issued forthwith as the main issue in KDA is the regularization of work charge contract employees if the matter is taken up by the governing body and If it is resolved, the way of dubious recruitments can definitely be stopped, Court petitioners should be regularized on vacant posts as soon as possible.
On this occasion, CBA General Secretary Qamar Abbas clarified that if the issue of dubious recruitment in KDA is to be resolved in a transparent manner, the employees who have been taken on parole from IT department during 2023-2024 should be immediately investigated as such action complicating the problem will suppress the current fraud of 2023-2024.
He informed that, In this regard, KDA Employees Union CBA is contacting all the unions to do collective efforts , If the employee has completed his service parole by working in the organization for five, ten or fifteen years, then calling them suspicious will open a new pandora box.
He said that KDA demands the administration to first investigate the recruitments during 2023-2024 and always take the path of dubious recruitments through a strict legal process.
He asked that, The KDA administration should immediately release the new list and release the list of employees only for 2023-2024 and cancel the order withholding the salaries of the old employees, due to which there is strong agitation among the employees. Forced dismissal is against Labor Law and according to the High Court reference, you cannot fire an employee after three years of salary.
CBA office bearers told that, In this regard, KDA Employees Union has clearly given its position to DG KDA and Secretary KDA by meeting two days before today so that this matter should be resolved in an amicable manner.
