On the direction of Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, the process of auctioning of KDA lands in a clean and transparent manner has been going on since last month under the supervision of Director General Karachi Development Authority.
In this regard, the auction of commercial plots and petrol pumps in North Karachi, Clifton, Korangi, Nazimabad, Surjani Town was completed today as per the procedure laid down by the administration.
Auction ceremony was being held in KDA Seminar Hall in Civi Center Building while all the process was shown live on http://www.facebook.com/kdakarachicity/videos1433183283729654 there is also a live stream on the KDA website.
During the auction process, the aspirants took active part in acquiring the most valuable plots of KDA.
Successful bidders deposited 25% in the form of bank pay order while plots will be allotted to successful bidders after payment of arrears.
Other officers including Director Land, Director IT, Director State and Enforcement, Additional Director Recovery, Additional Director Commercial were also present during the auction process.
