ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar claims to possess assets worth Rs48 million including 10 tolas of gold – the values of which he declared at an unbelievable figure of Rs80,000 – as well as a bungalow in Karachi’s posh neighbourhood of DHA costing only Rs4 million.

According to figures obtained by Express News, the interim premier owns 20 acres of inherited agricultural land worth Rs8 million. He also has shares costing Rs50,000 in the Pakistan Chagai Mining Limited and two bank accounts with deposits of around Rs20.20 million.
