Industrialists played vital role for development of country, DG KDA
Karachi is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy, industrialists have always played their role for the development of the country.
These views were expressed by Director General KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah during a visit to the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry office. DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah was specially invited by Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Patron in chief S. M Tanveer.
Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Faraz ur Rahman, Zubair Chhaya and Masood Naqi welcomed DG KDA.
On that occasion, DG KDA said that Korangi Industrial Area is the biggest economic hub of Pakistan where more than 372 textile mills and 78% oil refinery process are successfully completed while 42 flour mills are also established there. Korangi Industrial Area is situated on 10 thousand acre commercial zone which consist of 5 thousand industrial commercial and service units.
He further said that Karachi Development Authority is ready to take all possible steps to promote economic activities.
There is scope for improvement in Korangi Industrial Area, all resources will be used to fill this gap, provision of basic amenities will be ensured through collaboration in Korangi Industrial Area.
During the visit, DG KDA was accompanied by Member Admin Naveed Anwar, Member Finance Muhammad Kashif Khan, Secretary KDA Khalid Zafar Hashmi, Chief Engineer Nadeem Iqbal, Director Implementation Coordination Arshad, Director Traffic Engineering Bureau Tariq Rafi, Director Estate and Enforcement Shakeel Siddiqui.
Later on Farazur Rehman on behalf of (KATI) presented a commemorative shield to DG KDA Syed Muhammad Ali Shah.
