ILF Celebrates GURU NANAK Birth Anniversary with Sikh Community

International Lawyers Forum (ILF) along with the civil society celebrated the 552nd birth anniversary with Sikh community at Gurudwara Guru Granth Sahib Sikh Sabha in Karachi on Thursday.

When the delegation consisted on ILF members, civil society’s representatives and other dignitaries headed by the ILF Chairman, Nasir Ahmed Advocate arrived at Gurudwara, dozens of young girls, children and local resident showered flowers on the members of delegation. The program started with the National Anthem of Pakistan.

In his address, the Chairman ILF, Nasir Ahmed Advocate congratulated Sikh community; he said that on the occasion of 552nd birth anniversary, we all should follow the preaching of Baba Guru Nanak while the peace, brotherhood, equality and interfaith harmony are mandatory for improvement and development of country as well as nation.

In his speech, the Bishop of Pakistan, Sadiq Daniel congratulated Sikh community and said that ILF’s contribution towards brotherhood and interfaith harmony is exemplary.

The General Secretary of Shri Swaminarayan Trust, Senior Advocate, Anand Ram Hotwani stated that today’s occasion is beacon light to follow suit for others worldwide.

Prominent religious scholar Allama Abdul Khaliq, human and social rights activists Sardar Yaqoob Baloch, Sardar Amar Singh and many others congratulated Sikh community.

Head Grinti of Gurudwara, Kirshan Singh thanked ILF and all guests and said that today’s occasion is an excellent proof that all Pakistanis live together and there is no any conflict in between all religions and sects in Pakistan, he also hoped that ILF will keep continue these types of gatherings in future too.

The Founder and the Pioneer of Jamshed Foundation Int’l (JFI), Jamshed Ali Khowaja, Advocate distributed sweets and gifts among kids and participants.
