IG Sindh gives task of preventing sale and supply of illegal arms to CTD
Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon met the CTD officers and personnel at the Central Police Office and appreciated their brave and courageous efforts in anti-terrorism measures.
On this occasion, Additional IG Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Imran Yaqoob Minhas gave a briefing on the departmental matters against crimes and discussed about the police encounter between CTD and terrorists in recent days and making the police strategy, action plan effective in this regard. In addition, he informed about the details of the treatment of injured personnel of CTD during the police encounter .
IG Sindh said that the steps taken by the CTD against the terrorists to protect the life and property of people are praiseworthy.

He said that in order to make measures for anti-terrorism and other crimes successful and productive, the network of surveillance, detection and intelligence should be made more integrated and effective at the level of the areas.
The IG Sindh gave task to the senior officers of CTD who participated in the meeting to ensure the prevention of sale and purchase of illegal arms by identifying and marking the means of regular transportation adopted in this regard.
He said that the prize distribution ceremony and certificates of appreciation will be organized soon for the outstanding and efficient activities of CTD.
