HRYO & Salvation Army organizes Women Empowerment Seminar

On the occasion of International Women’s Day,  Women’s Empowerment Seminar was organized by the Human Rights Youth Organization-HRYO and the Salvation Army.

At the beginning of the seminar recitation of Holy Quran, prayers of Christian and Hindu religion, national anthem was recited.

The speakers of the seminar highlighted the role and services of women in all spheres of society, the issues facing women in Pakistan and in the world. A special song was sung by the girls on International Women’s Day.

The seminar was attended by women from all walks of life. The purpose of the seminar was to empower women and to pay tribute to the brave women of the society by presenting awards.

The chief guest of the seminar was MNA Mrs. Shehla Roth.

The seminar was attended by more than 200 women including police officers, teachers, Housewives, businesswomen actors, bankers, doctors, Allama, social activist and others.

The seminar was hosted by Erum Saaim chairperson PwD Wing Human Rights Youth Organization and Dr. Fauzia Keeriu President Women Wing Human Rights Youth Organization, the Salvation Army Captain Amna Zeeshan.

The highlight of the seminar, which was appreciated by all the participants, was the presence of people of all faiths under one roof in Corps Central Hall Church. Which set an example of the greatest religious harmony.

Finally, a cake was cut on the occasion of Women’s Day and all participation refreshments will be served.
