Home Department should pay KDA Dues; Employees Union demands

KDA Employees Union expressed concern over the non-payment of More than 130.5 Million Rupees outstanding of KDA which were due on Command and Control Center of Provincial Home Department.

It was learned that, the said amount due on home department in term of Monthly rent, water & Electricity including other utility charges which they had to pay to KDA.

A Session of Karachi Development Authority Employees Union office bearers held under the supervision of Patron in Chief Navaid Anwer Siddiqui on Wednesday, where the moot discuss on the letter No. PA/Secy/KDA/2019/235 of Director General KDA which was sent to Secretary Home Department Government of Sindh on 1st November 2019.

KDA Employees Union Patron in Chief informed that the KDA has sent letters twelve times to Secretary Home Department for the payment of said dues but nothing has paid to KDA till yet.

In a Session KDA Employees Union Patron in Chief including all office bearers demands Sindh Government for the payment of dues which were due on Home Department, as the employees of KDA have not get paid the salary of September and October.

Navaid Anwer stated that, KDA is facing financial crisis and the department have no money to pay the salaries of employees, Sindh Government should have to pay the amount of 130.5 Million which due on Home Department, as the office of Command and Control Center exist in the building of KDA and they had not paid any dues from a long time.

If KDA would get the said amount on a priority basis then it could be beneficial for all the employees because then the department would be able to pay their salaries, he added.


He also urged DG and the management of KDA to use all resources for the said dues and also announced for the support of management in every positive step for the betterment of KDA.
