First Historic Childrens week celebrated by DIRPIS in Karachi

The first historic Children’s Week was held from November 14 to November 19 in collaboration with the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions Sindh (DIRPIS) and All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association.  

This includes awareness sessions on child bullying, corporal punishment, harassment, drug use, importance of parents and mandatory requirements for future citizens various panel discussions and activities programs were organized on said topics.

On the last day, a grand carnival was organized for more than 20 thousand children and more than 4 thousand teachers at PAF Museum Karachi, whose special guest was Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon and Guest of the day was Dr. Nusrat Parveen Sahito.

On this occasion, Commissioner Karachi said in his address that parents should file a harassment complaint without any fear, Educational institutions, parents and administrative bodies can work together to provide a safe environment for children.

However Rafia Mallah Additional Director Registration DIRPIS said in her speech that today it is necessary that we should talk openly about sensitive and serious issues and change, development of world possible through children’s.

Whereas Dr. Nusrat Parveen Sahito stated that Children’s Day is being celebrated with more enthusiasm in Sindh this year.

In addition Haider Ali from Private school and colleges association expressed his gratitude and said that together we can prepare the children to be the best citizens of the future.

On this occasion, the leaders of the association Dost Muhammad Danish, Muhammad Saleem, Murtaza Shah, Toseef Shah, Dr. Najeeb Memon, Muhammad Sajid, Ashfaq Ahmed, Ejaz Kashif, Shahab Iqbal, Imtiaz Dogar, Tahira Mansoor, Imtiaz Siddiqui, Khan Muhammad, Jameel Hoth, Adil Baloch, Nisar Soomro, Hyder Ali Pahoor, Munir Abbasi, Uzair Sheikh, Maqbool and other executive members were also present.
