Pakistan Army set up a free medical camp in Tharparkar Sindh in which many people were treated free of cost and medicines were also provided.

According to a statement issued by ISPR on Monday, District Health Quarters along with Pakistan Army also assisted in free treatment of more than 1300 patients in the free medical camp, which set up in Raichand Higher Education School district Tharparkar.

Patients were treated, including women, mothers and children.

The camp had laboratory test facility due to which many patients were given free tests, First aid, ECG, vaccination, OT, detention room, free test and medicine facilities were provided in the free medical camp.

Specialists and MOs from various fields examined the patients on behalf of Pak Army.

Free rations were also distributed among the local residents.

The people sincerely thanked the Pakistan Army for the people-friendly relief activities.

Patients from Tharparkar and surrounding areas said that they have to travel far from here for the treatment of minor illness. Apart from the medical expenses, the cost of accommodation and transportation in the city becomes unaffordable. Due to this initiative of Pakistan Army, they got those facilities at home which might not have been available even after traveling so much in the city.

Citizens stated that, We were not only given medicines along with free checkups but also the most expensive tests were done free of charge.

People said that Pakistan Army is the only organization that always reaches here for all kinds of assistance, this medical camp of Pakistan Army not only treated our patients but also get many prayers from the depths of our hearts.

KDA Employees Union CBA MQM Pakistan Patron in Chief Unit Incharge Syed Imran Hussain Jafri chaired an emergency meeting which was attended by Joint Incharge Muhammad Amir, President Abdul Maroof, General Secretary Qamar Abbas,Spokesman Yasir Ali Khan, Member Zeeshan Malik, Nadeem Khokar and Committee Members Sub-Division In-Charges and Committee members.

Chief organizer Syed Imran Hussain Jafri said that in 2016, the revival of KDA took place through an act from the Sindh Assembly, it is clear that KDA was restored to its 2002 position.

In the light of the orders of the Supreme Court, the appointment of outside officers in the institution is an illegal process, which is causing a feeling of deprivation among the local officers, who are being replaced by outsiders officers on the posts, KDA officer should have to posted on KDA post.

Provincial Tobacco Control Cell Sindh (PTCCS) signed Letter of Intent (LoI) with Dr Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center to support the noble cause of Tobacco Free Sindh.

Dr Zulfiqar Dharejo Deputy DG Health/ Head of PTCCS and Dr Farhan Essa head of Dr Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Center signed this LoI at a LoI Signing Ceremony event held in Marina Club DHA.

Tanveer Qaimkhani Provincial Coordinator PTCCS stated that, Through signing this LoI Dr Essa Laboratory will jointly conduct awareness sessions by providing information, education and communication material and resource persons.

However policy guidelines will also develop to ensure observance of Tobacco Control Laws, at its health facilities and declared all of it Tobacco Smoke Free Zone, he added .

Whereas he informed that to provide trainings on tobacco epidemic and prepare youth for tobacco free generation in Sindh they will facilitate PTCCS to register volunteers .

Whereas it was also agreed in the LOI that they will jointly launch social media campaign against tobacco menace and develop an environment among youth for up-coming tobacco free generation and a Social Media Team will be prepared to propagation of tobacco control messages to masses.

Ali Muhammad Girls Primary and Lower Secondary School lacks all fundamental amenities including shortage of teachers and it’s buildings has been cracked and razed.

In this respect teachers of schools told speaking with media men that the building of schools is too old and weak and it’s rooms are cracked and worst due to that risk of peril has occurred.

They told more that there is shortage of water, furniture, equipment and other stuff in both schools cause of what students and teachers are facing problems and bearing lots of difficulties.

They added that teachers shortage is also a big issues in their village schools, there is only a lady teacher of class five who has to take all subjects classes by which interest of students regarding learning and studding is being low day by day.

Teachers and villagers said that they have already made aware their higher authorities through written applications but no action has been taken by them a bit due to that both schools buildings have become life threat for students and teachers who are teaching and learning under school roof.

They requested through media to their higher authorities and relevant officers to consider their request and reduce their issues also direct order of reconstruction and repairing for both cracked and worst buildings of Ali Muhammad Girls Primary and Lower Secondary schools.

Allah says, “This day, good and pure things have been made lawful for you. And the sacrificed animal of those given the (Revealed) Book is (also) lawful for you, whilst your sacrificed animal is lawful for them.”(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:5)

This verse indicates that certain foods are permissible not only for Muslims but also for people of the Book (Jews and Christians), fostering harmony and tolerance among different religious communities.

Hadith Perspective:

The Hadith literature supplements the Quran by providing detailed explanations and practical examples of halal practices. Numerous Hadiths narrated by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) address various aspects of halal living.

For instance, in Sahih Muslim, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Verily, Allah is pure and He accepts only what is pure.” This Hadith emphasizes the importance of purity in both actions and intentions, highlighting the necessity of consuming halal food and earning through lawful means.

Furthermore, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited the consumption of certain specific foods, such as pork and intoxicants, through various authentic Hadiths. For example, he said,“Every intoxicant is khamr (wine), and every khamr is haram (forbidden).” (Sahih Muslim) This prohibition extends to all forms of intoxicants, emphasizing the importance of maintaining clarity of mind and spirit.

Chairman Safoora Town Rashid Khaskheli said on the occasion that the provision of municipal services has started after decades in the limits of Safoora Town, I am public representatives and trying to resolve municipal problems by staying among the peoples.

The process of disinfectants started in Safoora Town from September 2023 is still going on, while the work of lifting debris, winching, improvement of parks and green belts and installation and repair of street lights is going on on a daily basis,he added.

Since anyone can post anything online, no matter how accurate, it becomes very difficult to assess the credibility of sources.

2. Quality Control: Conventional peer review procedures guarantee that, prior to publication, scientific research satisfies a set of quality requirements. But the internet has made these distinctions less clear. Research findings can be shared quickly thanks to preprint servers and open-access journals, but they might not be as well reviewed as traditional publishing. 3. Reproducibility Crisis: Science’s reproducibility crisis has been made worse by the internet. The fragility of the digital systems that modern research depends on is highlighted by instances of cyber-attacks on scientific organizations, which may jeopardize the security and integrity of scientific data.

In conclusion, even while there is no denying that the internet has transformed scientific research, there are a number of serious drawbacks and difficulties with it. World Press Freedom Day is celebrated on May 3rd every year to raise awareness about the importance of press freedom and to pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

On World Press Freedom Day, Habibuddin Junaidi, President of Peoples Labour Bureau Sindh and a senior labour leader, issued a statement paying tribute to the courageous struggle and sacrifices of journalists.

In his statement, he said that in Pakistan, the standard-bearers of press freedom have been imprisoned, beaten, and even killed, while dozens have been abducted, but we salute these brave journalists who never bowed down to the ruthless powers and their struggle will ultimately be successful, and the tyrannical forces will face a crushing defeat.

We have faith that their struggle will be victorious and the oppressors will face a humiliating defeat.
