Good News for EOBI Pensioners as the pensioners would now get Eight Thousand Five Hundred rupees monthly which was Six Thousand five hundred rupees in past.
Sources from Employees Old Benefit Institution (EOBI) confirmed that the department has decided to disbursed 8500 rupees from this month by increasing 2000 from the total amount.
It was learned that more than Six Hundred Thousand pensioners are registered in EOBI, whereas the department has disbursed more than 5 Billion for the payment of pension.
On anonymity of name, EOBI Officer informed that the amount of pension Rupees 8500 per pensioner has already been credited in the accounts and the pensioners would get the payment till coming Monday.
