KDA Employees Union Chairman Abdul Maroof and President Nadeem Khokhar met with Director General Karachi Development Authority on Tuesday to discuss the issues of department in detail.
While Discussion Chairman Employees Union informed DG KDA about the closure of medical facilities for employees. Whereas Nadeem Khokar asked DG for the payment of retired employees dues as one of the retired senior officer of land department Mr. Inam who died on 30th July 2020 his family members are still seeking for his payment of dues from department.
Moreover Union’s delegation informed DG that NAB has given clearance of 53 files and the department could generate 500 Million from these files as a recovery but KDA has not get benefit from it.
Further they also asked DG to auction Gulistan e Johar files to generate revenue.
In reply of it DG KDA Asif Ikram informed Union’s office bearers that he is doing his best to get the department financially stable and would also call meeting for auction of said files.
However he also asked union for support to make KDA financially stable as the department is facing severe financial crisis in payment of employees salaries and pensions.
