Employees Union CBA delegation met newly posted DG KDA

KDA Employees Union (CBA) delegation headed by Organizer Syed Imran Hussain Jaffery along with President Muhammad Abdul Maroof, General Secretary Qamar Abbas, Information Secretary Yasir Ali Khan met newly posted Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Tahir Hussain Sangi presented him bouquet of flowers and Heartily congratulated him on assuming charge.

On this occasion, Organizer & Joint Incharge of CBA Imran Hussain informed DG regarding the contract and work charge employees issue and said that the work charge ,contract employees have been unemployed from many years.

He told DG that KDA is not suffering from financial crisis, It is because the Sindh Building Control and Master Plan Department owes billions of rupees of KDA and KDA is being ruined by a conspiracy.

President of Employees Union (CBA) Muhammad Abdul Maroof said that today the 12th of September has passed but till now the cheque of of 28 crore grant from Sindh government has not issued .

Where he stated that dues of retired employees of the department not paid from 4 years is extremely worried for and the dues of retired employees are about two billion sixty Lacks rupees.

On the other hand Employees Union (CBA) General Secretary Qamar Abbas said that the employees on the medical card of Jubilee Life Insurance are very worried because they are not fully treated in the hospital.

On this occasion, the DG Tahir Hussain satisfactorily listened to all the concerns of the KDA Employees Union (CBA) and instructed the Member Finance regarding the delay in the grant should not be happened and he said that the payment of salaries and pensions is one of his top priorities.

However on CBA request DG KDA asked for a report from the KDA management regarding contract and work charge employees.

According to CBA Organizer Imran Hussain CBA assured DG KDA for full cooperation regarding the betterment of department and its employees.

Senior Member Nadeem Khokhar, Senior Member Zeeshan Malik, Owais Ahmed, Senior Vice President Rafiq Safdar, Vice President Muhammad Adil Khan, Joint Secretary Sher Afghan were also present on the occasion.
