Karachi; With the efforts of Administrator DMC East, Syed Shakeel Ahmed, while traffic volunteers are doing a good job to keep the main roads running in District East during Ramadan, a tree plantation campaign has been started in the Mosques and Imambargahs in the District East, which will continue on a daily basis.
Administrator East Syed Shakeel Ahmed inaugrates the campaign by planting saplings in the Masjids and Imambargah at Ali Masjid and Imambargah Sharafabad UC-18 and Bilal Masjid UC-12.
On this occasion, Administrator Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that in order to make the places of worship green, trees are being planted in every masjids and imambargah of the district east, which will be completed in Ramadan.
He said that the city can be made green by highlighting the concept of tree for reward, only for this awareness has to be promoted, our effort is to use the suitable places which available for tree plantation. Together with residents of district east will make the green district.
