DMC East Schools students successfully conveyed tobacco use hazards message through posters; Umamah Solangi

A Certificate Distribution ceremony among students of DMC East Education Department Schools who participated in 1st Commissioner Karachi Poster, Art & Short video competition held at the office of Director Education DMC East.

Umamah Solangi Additional Deputy Commissioner – II /Head Tobacco Control Cell District East graced the event as a Chief Guest.

While speaking with students Umamah Solangi praised the efforts of students as well as teachers who motivated them in participating the event.

However, she also stated that the certificate Distribution ceremony organized to appreciate the efforts of students as through posters they have successfully conveyed the message of Tobacco use hazards.

At last sheild awarded to Subbuh Shafiq student of Class 8th of SS – I Girls Secondary School whose poster selected on 3rd Position of 1st Commissioner Karachi Poster Exhibition which held at Sadequain Art Gallery.

Tobacco Control Cell Deputy Commissioner East Office under the supervision of Raja Tariq Deputy Commissioner East is playing its role to aware masses specially students regarding the hazards of Tobacco use and also taking action against the violators of Tobacco Control laws to save our young generation from the hazards of tobacco use, she added.

Further, Director Education DMC East Sher Ali thanked to ADC-II East for graced the event to motivate student of Government Schools.

At last certificates were distributed among students and officials of District Municipal Corporation (DMC) East Education Department officials.
