Hyderabad: A District Implementation and Monitoring Committee DI&MC Tobacco Control Laws meeting was held under the chair of Additional Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Qaim Akbar. However Project Manager Tobacco Smoke Free Cities Ministry of NHSRC Muhammad Aftab Ahmed gave a presentation on the implementation of Tobacco Control Laws and the steps to be taken in the future.
The Assistant Commissioners of four sub-divisions Hyderabad, Deputy Director Sindh Food Authority, Operation/Traffic Police, Excise Narcotics Control Department, Anti-Narcotics Force, Social Welfare Department, Regional Transport Authority, Municipal Corporation, District Health Department, Hyderabad Development Authority, Auqaf Department, Pakistan Railways, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Education Department Tobacco Control Project staff including officers of all district departments attended the meeting.
