Directorate of Private Institutions Sindh organized event to promote peace, tolerance and youth engagement

The Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions, Government of Sindh, under the banner of Paigam-e-Pakistan, organized a remarkable event aimed at promoting peace, prosperity, and positive youth engagement.

This inspiring initiative united Team Paigam-e-Pakistan and the directorate to provide a platform for young creatives to showcase their artistic talents.

A captivating exhibition featuring the exceptional paintings and drawings of Ms. Sandhya Sobhraj was held at BAMM PECHS Government College for Women, Karachi.

The event was made possible through the support of Regional Director Colleges, Prof. Mustafa Kamal Pathan, and Mrs. Shehla Qureshi, Principal of BAMM PECHS College.

Mr. Asif Ikram, Secretary of the College Education Department, Government of Sindh, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Prof. Mustafa Kamal Pathan, Madam Rafia Javed Mallah Additional Director of Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions Sindh, Gulab Rai Deputy Director Colleges Karachi and the Paigam-e-Pakistan team emphasized the critical importance of peace within society.

Speaker Qari Sajjad Ahmed Tanoli highlighted the role of education and dialogue in fostering creative thinking among youth.

He quoted verses from the Holy Quran pertaining to peace and justice, shedding light on the vision of Paigam-e-Pakistan and commending Additional Director Rafia Mallah for her efforts.

He praised young artist Sandhya Sobhraj for her dedication to both art and education.

Guest of Honour Mufti Roshni Din Rasheedi recognized the significant role of women in shaping human values and culture, encouraging young girls to follow in their footsteps while also admiring Sandhya Sobhraj’s artistic skills and commitment.

The event acknowledged Paigam-e-Pakistan’s initiative to promote young talent, with Chief Guest Mr. Asif Ikram commending Sandhya Sobhraj’s artwork and praising the peace mission of Paigam-e-Pakistan.

He also highlighted the hard work of college students, who excelled in their intermediate examinations, affirming that Pakistani students are dedicated representatives of their country on the global stage.

This event not only showcased Ms. Sandhya Sobhraj’s artistic talent but also reflected the college’s commitment to fostering creative excellence.

The Secretary of College Education and other esteemed guests, including Madam Rafia Javed, expressed admiration for the artwork.

The Additional Director of Private Schools delivered introductory remarks, underscoring the significance of this initiative in promoting peace and tolerance among educated youth, thereby combating extremism, racism, sectarian violence, and hatred in society.

Prof. Miraj Siddiqui also participated in and attended the event. Ms. Sandhya Sobhraj’s parents were honored with shields and awards. In her speech, Sindhya Sobhraj expressed gratitude to Paigam-e-Pakistan, the Directorate of Private Schools, and the Regional Director for their collective support.

The Additional Director thanked all members who contributed to this commendable initiative.

Principal Shehla Qureshi concluded the event with a vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in recognizing this young talent.

The event was highly successful and praised by many after the tableau’s and national songs highlighting national spirit and unity in the last awards were given to the team of Paigam e Pakistan for their role in the promotion of peace in Pakistan. Presentation was presented on the Paigamm e Pakistan aims and objectives.

Students delivered speeches in Urdu and English language on the benefits of program Paigamm e Pakistan.
