DIG Motorway Police Sindh expressed solidarity with Indian Occupied Kashmiris

National Highways & Motorway Police Sindh organized an event at Toll Plaza M-9 Karachi to celebrate Independence Day 14th August. Earlier a flag hoisting ceremony held at DIG Motorway Office Karachi in the early morning where the motorway police headed by Masoor Alam Kolachi DIG Motorway Sindh paid tribute and recited National Anthem.

Later the event started at the M-9 Toll Plaza in which the Inspector General Motorway Police AD Khwaja were present as a Chief Guest.

Whereas Dean of NED Urban Engineering University Syed Shabbar, Former Olympian Ahmed Alam, Manager Safety Atlas Honda Atif Rasheed and DIG Motorway Sindh Masror Alam Kolachi were present on the occasion.

In the event students of NED and other educational institutes presented National songs and also participated in quiz program & a debate competition, whose winners have got gifts from the Motorway Police.

Speaking at the event IG Motorway AD Khwaja emphasized that we as a nation should have to realize what we have got and lost from the period of independence 1947 till yet and also asked the students despite posting images on social media we should have to work for the betterment of country practically.

He has also paid tribute to the struggle of armed forces for bringing peace and has termed martyrs a hero of the nation.

However, Dean NED Urban Engineering Professor Syed Shabbar shared that only education is the way forward for bringing progress in any country and it’s the only solution to get rid of illiteracy and other issues of society.

Atlas Honda Safety Manager Atif Rasheed vowed for the support of his department for Motorway Police on every step for the work of road safety.

At last DIG Motorway Sindh thanked participants and guest for their presence and said that independence is one of the blessings for us we should have to play our part for the progress of our country.

He also extends the support for armed forces regarding Kashmir issue and express solidarity with the citizens of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
