DG KDA pays surprise visit of Civic Center to review ongoing renovation work

Director General Karachi Development Authority Naveed Anwar paid a surprise visit of Civic Center Building to review the ongoing renovation and development works around the building. During the visit, DG KDA Naveed Anwar was briefed about the ongoing development work.  

Expressing satisfaction, DG KDA issued instructions to the concerned officers to complete the development work before the stipulated period by increasing the manpower and machinery.

It should be noted that taking immediate action on the special orders of caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir, DG KDA issued instructions to the concerned authorities to renovate the civic center building.

More stringent security measures have been taken in the civic center building, while modern cameras have been installed at the entrances and exits, which are being controlled by the internal command and control system KDA.

However Curb stone pavements are being established around the building and along with the installation of lights in the building, painting work is in progress.

Whereas,A Vigilance Center has been set up in Civic Center Building to prevent suspicious activities where all departments of KDA are being monitored on daily basis.

Moreover, on the directives of DG KDA, the civic center building is being cleaned on a daily basis, due to which there has been a significant improvement in the cleaning arrangements in the building.

In addition Unnecessary trees are being cut and new plants are being planted in the said building, which will further enhance the beauty of the building, while the inactive fountains in the building are being corrected and activated.

DG KDA was accompanied by Chief Engineer KDA / Member Technical Tariq Rafi, Director Recovery Raza Qaim Khani including other officers.
