People of Dars community of Ali Nawaz Jokhio village held protesting March at UC Chohar Darsana Channa against water supply scheme staff who had closed supply of their water here on yesterday.
Protesters held March led by Faiz Dars, Punhal Dars, Molvi Allah Waraio Dars, Shafi Dars, Noor Zaman Dars and others from their houses till water supply scheme with children and women in a great deal who were having water pots on their heads for water seek and raised serious mottos against negligence and non-cooperation of elected representatives.
On the report water supply staff ran away with Incharge locking office after having news about protesters reaching.
Protesters talked with journalists and said on that occasion that water supply staff is inapt, greedy and corrupt so it should be removed and people of Dars community at Ali Nawaz village be provided water on immediate basis.
They further said that they have been facing water shortage problem past twenty days due to that a serious dearth of drinking water has occured in area against which they have complained many times to UC chairman and District Councillor but they did not co-operate and solve matter also left it as it was before that’s why they have become coerced to come out from their houses with children and women today.
They said that their elected representatives should die in a fist ful of water if they can not solve public issues for what they were elected.
Dars Community peoples appealed District Council Karachi Chairman Salman Abdullah Murad and MNA Jam Abdul Karim Jokhio to provide them water and have inquisition against water supply staff who have closed water of area.
