COVID-19: ATP welcomes govt move of constituting joint task force
The Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Chairman, Muhammad Faiq Shah has welcomed the government decision regarding constitution of a joint task force of centre and all provinces to make collective efforts to overcome with the prevailing situations.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, Faiq Shah said the government move is highly appreciable. However, he added that the timely decisions would be more beneficial as well as making easiness in gaining set objectives from such initiative.
He asserted that all institutions should need to devise collectively a national policy, besides he called to declare emergency in health, education and agriculture sector in order to combat with any hazards in coming days while keeping in view the current scenario.
ATP leader said the idea of joint task force, comprising on centre and al provinces was already suggested by his party. He urged the Prime Minister Imran Khan to come forward and lead the nation. He called to make decisions by setting aside personnal ego and interests.
Faiq Shah demanded the representation of professional youth and young workers of all political parties and civil society organisations in the proposed ‘Volunteers Tiger Force’.in order to build a new precedence of unity, tranquility and harmony into this crucial government initiative.
The party leader expressed fear that if the youth belonging from PTI would be only part of the Tiger Force, which will give impression of bias, hatred and further division. He instructed the ATP office bearers and workers to play their proactive role by taking full part in relief and awareness activities against the novel coronavirus pandemic in their respective constituencies and areas.
