Khairpur Nathan Shah: ARTS Foundation distributed 100 Ration Begs to the Cororna Pandemic affected Widows, Disable Person, labour and Orphan at Mirpurkhas and surrounding. While in ration Begs things were included as Atta (Wheat Flour) Oil, Rice, Sugar, Chilli, Salt, Daal and Tea while totall price of Ration begs are Rs 155200.
While till now ARTS Foundation has distributed 347 Ration begs to most vulnerable and beedy communities in the said district.
According to details, ARTS Foundation is a not for profit and an indigenous civil society organization established by a group of young motivated community development professionals, researchers, media persons, human rights activists and concerned citizens who were trying to contribute their time and skills to mainstream women, girls, youth and children.
ARTS Foundation aims to mainstream marginalized and most vulnerable segments of the society in development process through creating, strengthening and supporting local community groups, organizations and networks to influence policies through advocacy, lobbying, networking and training to promote and protect fundamental rights to empower women, girls, youth and children.
Moreover, Executive Director of ARYS Foundation Shahzado Malik told to newsmen that we are helping very needy communities in terms of providing Ration Begs but we also giving awareness regarding precautionary measures and prevention of Cororna Pandemic in rural areas.
He added that during the Lockdown mostly poor and less income generated communities facing difficulties how to survive thier life. He also shared that daily wage labour who are living in Kachhi Abadi thier social life is much in trouble so tgat our organisation is trying to helop them as limited funding from philanthropist and other donors as Consul German Eugen Wollfarth Karachi.
While he also added that federal government and Sindh government must provide Financial and other Aid for survival of life.
On the occasions, Social, political and Trade Union representatives Muhammad Bux Kapri, Muhammad Masood Abbas, Jaabar Majeed, Noushaba Naz, Ali Kapri and others were present during distribution of Ration begs.
