Citizens are facing a lot of issues regarding the clearance of their documentation process from Karachi Development Authority Recovery Department, Sources revealed that the Superintendent of Recovery Department Tahir Javed is allegedly demanding bribe from the citizens in case of any work regarding his department.
In past KDA Director-General and higher officials had taken against the corrupt practices in the different departments of KDA, but the situation is still same as corruption is allegedly rising and the officers including employees have no fear of higher officials.
Sources revealed that the said officer has promoted to 17 Grade by illegal means.
On the Other hand last week Sindh Government has appointed Badar Jameel as Director General KDA, the department is facing a severe financial crisis as KDA is getting a monthly grant of more than 200 Million from Sindh Government in terms of payment of employees monthly salaries.
Now Karachiites have hope from the newly posted DG for curbing corruption and suspension of corrupt officers from the department.
