Tenders for 15 works of B&R, M&E and Parks Department worth Rs. 75 million opened before contractors and media representatives, media representatives inspected the tender process and check its transparency.
Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan, Executive Engineers Iqbal Mallah, Salman Memon, Imtiaz Bhutto, Director Parks Agha sameer, Zafar Iqbal, Chief Accounts Officer Naveed Ahmed Kolachi and others checked transparency along with contractors who participated in tenders.
Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan while talking on the occasion said that efforts are being made to make D.M.C East a center of transparency in all respects under supervision of Administrator Rahmatullah Sheikh. We will make District East a model district and will take all possible steps to provide facilities to the people.
The tendering process is in front of everyone and it is clear that every contractor is satisfied that all processes are transparent, PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) member Naseer Shah and contractor Rafiq Khan and others said that an example has been set in D.M.C East regarding transparent tendering.
All the processes are a reflection of complete transparency on which we are satisfied and happy.
He requested that due to increasing of prices of every commodity have gone up so steps should be taken to increase rates.
