Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Gadap Haji Tariq Aziz Baloch presented the budget of 3 billion 14 crore 8 lakh 87 thousand 161 rupees for the financial year 2024-2025, along with him Vice Chairman Jam Muhammad , Municipal Commissioner Ahmed Yar were also present.
Finance Committee Chairman Muhammad Rafiq Jokhio informed the members of the council about the budget gap, the details of which are 2 billion 74 crore 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees from OZT and its own sources of income, the actual income is 40 crore, the total balance of estimated income is 3 billion 14 8 lakh 87 thousand 161 rupees, non-development expenses, salaries 1 billion 65 crore 18 lakh 30 thousand 451 rupees, other expenses 34 crore 52 lakh 92 thousand rupees, maintenance and repair 25 crore 16 lakh rupees, total balance estimate 2 billion 24 crore 87 lakh 22 thousand 451 rupees, development expenditure 15 crore rupees, roads 6 crore 25 lakh, drainage 8 crore 30 lakh, construction of building 1 crore 30 lakh Street lights 1 crore 50 lakhs, welfare 4 crore 50 lakhs, solid waste 5 lakhs, parks 1 crore 60 lakhs, ongoing development work and payment of arrears 47 crore 50 lakh rupees have been saved in this budget 11 lakh 64 thousand 710 rupees.
Town Chairman Haji Tariq Aziz Baloch said that this is the second budget of our town has tried to provide the best facilities keeping in mind the preferences of the people, in which street lights, sanitation, sports, parks and other development works will be done in a better way according to the manifesto of PPP the basic local government problems of the people should be eliminated as well as the quality of life should be raised. Providing maximum relief to the people is one of our first duties.
This people-friendly budget has been prepared through consultation, development work will be done in all the UCs of Gadap town and an ideal town will be created.
