Chairman Manghopir Town Meets Mayor Karachi to Discuss Longstanding Manghopir Road Issue

Chairman of Manghopir Town, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, along with the leadership of PPP District West met with Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab at his office to discuss key issues faced by the town — particularly the long-neglected condition of Manghopir Road.
Also present at the meeting were PPP District West President Abid Hussain Satti, Information Secretary Ali Akbar Kachhelo, Mufti Khalid, Qari Fazal Mola, and other senior office bearers.
Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi emphasized that Manghopir Road has been a pressing issue for decades, with repeated calls for attention raised across various forums.
He noted that while SIDCL did undertake the construction of one section of the road, the work was substandard, and the other stretch remains untouched.
He further highlighted that the deteriorating condition of the road has led to serious challenges for the local population, including daily traffic congestion and a rise in accidents, significantly adding to public distress.
During the meeting, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab listened to the concerns attentively and assured the delegation that swift action would be taken.
He also pledged to visit Manghopir Road soon, a commitment for which the chairman and his delegation expressed their gratitude.
