CBA to continue legal battle over fresh appointments in KDA through IBA Sukkur Testing Service, Syed Imran Hussain
Important development in Civil Suit Number 1511/2023 filed by KDA Employees Union CBA as the Sindh High Court issued notices to Local Government Department, Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and SIBA Testing Service for appearance in court on 11th August 2023.
Imran Hussain Jafri Organizer and Joint Incharge of CBA expressed his satisfaction on court and stated that CBA will give surprise on next court hearing as the recent jobs advertised by KDA is not according to KDA rule and the court would not accept illegal recruitments.
He shared that, CBA will struggle for the rights of Workcharge, Contract and Son Quota employees.
However Abdul Maroof President KDA Employees Union CBA asked from KDA administration and local government department that are they doing recruitments of 45 Senior Clerks according to 1989 KDA Memorandum according to Which in case of any new job 50 percent part will be given to Son Quota .
He stated that KDA administration have to give answers of the said questions and CBA hope that Court would provide justice.
Whereas, Sher Afghan Joint Secretary of CBA said , we are fighting legal battle and this battle is economic battle of all employees.
On the other hand Imran Hussain Jafri informed that, KDA Employees Union CBA affiliated with MQM Pakistan had filed petition in first step regarding the said appointments through IBA Sukkur Testing Service but while considering its importance union has decided to file a Civil Suit , which was filed by Abdul Maroof and Sher Afghan in Sindh High Court.
