All Sindh Youth Competition 2024 – A Showcase of Talent and Determination

 

:Under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Minister of Education, Government of Sindh, Mr. Syed Sardar Ali Shah, The All Sindh Youth Competition 2024 being held by the Directorate of Inspections and Registrations of Private Institutions, Sindh in collaboration with Ziauddin College .

Intermediate and A-Levels, brought together the best and brightest young minds from across the province, igniting an atmosphere of excitement and competition.

With over 120 teams vying for the top spot, the event witnessed fierce participation, especially from Karachi and Hyderabad regions, showcasing the spirit and potential of youth from diverse backgrounds.

 

Karachi Region: Competitive Landscape Dominated by Private Institutions

 

Karachi fielded 63 teams with 189 participants from October 22 – October 24, all determined to claim the finale round. However, only 6 teams managed to secure a spot in the highly competitive finale round. Notably, all 6 finalists represented private institutions.

 

Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazirabad Regions: A Mixed Bag of Talent

 

The Hyderabad region showed remarkable diversity, with 43 teams participating—16 from government schools and 27 from private institutions. Additionally, 2 teams represented the Shaheed Benazirabad region, comprising 1 private and 1 government team.

 

In total, the two regions combined had 135 participants, including 89 girls and 46 boys, showcasing commendable female participation.

 

• Round 1: Out of the initial pool, 18 teams advanced to the second round—7 from government institutions and 11 from private institutions, with 54 participants (18 boys and 36 girls).

• Finale Round: From this cohort, 9 teams progressed to the final showdown, featuring 27 participants—10 boys and 17 girls.

 

The Road Ahead: The competition will expand tomorrow, October 26, 2024 for Mirpurkhas region, whereas, on October 28, 2024, the competition for the first two rounds will be held at Sukkur including the region of Larkana.

 

The grand finale promises to be an exciting event, bringing together the most promising talent across Sindh. This year’s competition exemplifies how youth, regardless of background, are striving for excellence.

 

The All Sindh Youth Competition 2024 not only highlights academic and extracurricular brilliance but also reflects a growing trend of gender inclusion, with a significant number of girls making it to the final stages.

The anticipation is high as these young participants gear up for the ultimate round, where the champions will emerge.
