Karachi; Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that changes are being made in the traditional method of road construction, citizens can benefit from long life projects by constructing roads according to standards by adopting scientific method.
He expressed these views while inspecting the road work being constructed in Karachi Administration Society with the fund of MNA Kishwar Zahra.
He said that the method of road construction can be improved by using technical skills, during the construction of the road, manholes are being found with the help of metal detectors to ensure repairing of the manholes before the construction of the road.
He said that technical expertise is also being ensured to check the depth of the road in the construction of roads, he said that he has always played his role in the elimination of development works involving against the quality in district east so that the citizens can benefit from long life projects.
He requested to the citizens that Do your part If you see substandard work anywhere, report it to the concerned institution.
He was accompanied by Assistant Executive Engineer Saleem Farooqui along with other officers of DMC East.
