A meeting was held at the Council Hall of Jamshed Zone for the municipal arrangements before Muharram ul Haram under the presidentship of Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh and Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan.
The meeting was attended by officers of DMC East, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Rangers and Police Administration including the organizers of Procession and majalis.
In the meeting organizers pointed out the problems on the routes of Imam Bargahs, Procession and majalis in different areas of district east, in which most of the problems were registered about sewerage while other issues were apprised about the leveling of roads, street lights and other issues for which its solution orders were issued on the spot.
Administrator DMC East Rahmatullah Sheikh said on the occasion that the reason for the late meeting was continuous rain but was not neglected by his duties.
He stated that DMC East already started work for Muharram ul Haram, the purpose of the meeting is to analyse your opinion and grievances to ensure solutions to the problems which exist, play our role in ensuring the solution problems which related to DMC East.
He directed the water and sewerage board officers to play their role immediately to solve the problems.
He shared his mobile number with the organizers of the procession and asked them to complain directly to him, Redressal will be made possible.
Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan said on the occasion that he is present in Muharram to serve Azadaran.
He said that ,He will play his first role in delivering all possible municipal services, the DMC East is available at every event for provision of municipal services so he will provide facilities to Azadaran by serving day and night in the time available.
Meeting was attended by Superintending Engineers Mubeen Sheikh, Salman Memon, Executive Engineer Iqbal Mallah, Executive Engineers Sewerage Muhammad Ejaz, Masood Kazmi, Directors Hammad khan,Tauqeer Abbas,Zafar Iqbal,Sohail Sadiq,DSP Sadiq Rana, AEE,s Muhammad Haroon, Rashid Fayyaz and Rangers officers.
