On the directives of Iqbal Hussain Meerani Deputy Director Anti Corruption Establishment West Zone, ACE West team on Tuesday raided at Sub Registrar Office of Liaquatabad Town and seized records of illegal sublease.
It was learned that the raid was conducted under the supervision of Circle Officer Ashraf Soomro.
Whereas Sources informed that the office of Sub Registrar Liaquatabad Town was involved in issuing Sub lease to Portions and projects which were constructed against the approval of Map, which was approved by Sindh Building Control Authority.
Reportedly Sub Registrar Liaquatabad Town Shams Uddin Dharejo ran away from the office in fear of arrest.
The ACE West team has seized the record of the said office for further investigation.
It was learned that the said sub registrar was allegedly involved in issuing Sub lease by illegal means.
On the directives of Sohail Anwer Siyal Provincial Minister of Anti Corruption Establishment, the department is taking effective measures against corrupt practices in all over karachi on a daily basis.
