30th April the death anniversary of Mir Ali Bux Talpur who was the great grand son of Sher-e-Sindh Mir Sher Mohammad Talpur last ruler of Sindh.

Mir Ali Bux Talpur has inspired and followed the socialist thought, even though he belonged to the Nawabzada Family but always remained with the poor people of the area , like a peasant, labourers.

He was a socialist political worker, therefore his Father nawabzada Mir Allah dad khan Talpur was always annoyed.

Mir Ali Bux decided that education for the women is necessary therefore he shifted from village Kot Mir’s near kot Ghulam Mohammed Dist Mirpurkhas to Karachi and had given best quality education to his kids including Daughters that decision of Mir Ali bux was intolerable to his family but Mir sb did not care about that .

In the year 1970 no one wanted to get the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party to contest the election of National Assembly against the Khanbahdur Wassan in Mirpurkhas because he had remained unbeaten through out in Pakistan history but Mir Ali Bux sb accepted this challenge and contest the election and ultimately won the seats due to his inclination with the deprived people of constituency.

That’s not enough but During the government of Pakistan Peoples Party he was the first person from treasury bench who vehemently opposed the operation gains in Baluchistan, but the government had decided the operation.

Mir Sahab did not agree with the decision and resigned from the seat of Member Of National Assembly and joined the Balouch National Mmovement and supported them from every corner.

He remained in torture cells but never surrendered before the Government and went to the mountains with Baloch tribes .

After the military coup in 1977 General Zia targeted the people who remained against the policies of ZA Bhutto, so that he could gain the sympathy of people who were with ZA Bhutto, approached to Mir Sahab but he didn’t know about the man of principle who refused to support but joined the movement against the military coup. Mir Sahab along with Shaheed Fazal Rahoo and Rasool Bux Palijo established a new political party named Sindhi Awami Tahreek and remained as the President of SAT.

Mir Ali Bakhsh Khan Talpur died on 30 April 1980 in a medical institution of London, England. His frame become introduced to Pakistan and buried in Chitori graveyard close to Mirpur Khas.
