New York – Prominent Pakistani-American social and business figure, Abdul Rauf Bhally, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the global Catholic community, especially American Christians, on the historic election of Pope Robert Francis Prevost, now known as Pope Leo, as the 267th Pope and the first ever from the United States.
In his congratulatory message, Mr. Bhally highlighted the Pope’s inaugural address, in which he said: “Peace be with you” – a message of hope and harmony that resonates across all faiths and nations.
He expressed optimism that Pope Leo will play a model role in promoting global peace, interfaith dialogue, and cultural diversity.
Mr. Bhally also urged communities around the world to embrace the Pope’s message of peace and brotherhood, and to contribute collectively to building a world grounded in mutual respect, compassion, and unity.
