A Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh delegation, comprising Dr. Mehboob Noonari (Chairman), Dr. Majeed Jatoi (Senior Vice Chairman), Dr. Mehran Shar (Vice Chairman), Dr. Ammar Danish (President YDA JPMC) and Dr. Muhammad Ali (Spokesperson YDA JPMC), met with JPMC Executive Director to congratulate him on his two-year tenure extension.
According to the press release issued by YDA Sindh Spokesman Key Discussion Points which discussed during meeting were included, Timely Payment of Stipends: Ensuring monthly release of stipends for House Officers and Postgraduate Trainee doctors, with attendance collection by the 5th-10th of each month.
The other key point was Newly Promoted Medical Officers: Adjusting recently promoted Medical Officers (from scale 17 to 18 & 19) and creating S&Es for these posts in JPMC.
Whereas, YDA delegation stressed on the need of Strengthening hospital security, with administration and security personnel supporting doctors for patient safety and management.
However regarding Staff and Medicine Shortages issue YDA delegation presented solution of it through hiring and efficient management.
Further, Bridging the gap between faculty and administration, addressing promotion issues and grievances were also discussed during meeting.
It was mentioned in YDA Sindh Press Release that, The Executive Director assured the delegation of his commitment to resolving these issues.
Moreover, Dr Mehboob Noonari stated that YDA Sindh is dedicated to collaborating with JPMC administration to improve healthcare services and doctor welfare.
