Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Gadap Tariq Aziz Baloch held a meeting with the officers of M&E, Parks, Sanitation and other departments and issued instructions that during rains, no water has stagnated in any area of Gadap town.
The vacations of all the officers and staff have also been cancelled.
Deputy Director Sanitation Afzal Laghari said that all the machinery and staff for the drainage of water in the entrances and exits of Gadap Town, sewage lines and internal streets during the rains are performing their duty.
Town Municipal Commissioner Ahmad Yar said that on the instructions of Government of Sindh and the Town Chairman, the officers and staff of Gadap Town Administration should perform their duties strictly during the rainy season and no negligence will be tolerated.
Whereas he said that all the departments are busy to provide relief to the people.
Vice Chairman Jam Muhammad Jokhio said in his message that the rains are continuing and all the employees should continue the daily cleaning work in addition to rain emergency duty and All the council members should be in touch with the people in their respective constituencies in view of the rains and measures should be taken to provide relief.
Haji Sharif Sheikh, Superintendent Engineer M&E Noor Ali Jamali, Director Information Rizwan Sabir, PS Chairman Lal Jan Nabi are also present.
