Afghanistan’s middle-order batter Najib Zadran has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Pakistan starting today.

Zadran’s unfortunate exit from the series comes after he sustained a knee injury.

The Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) confirmed the news earlier today on their social media, revealing that Zadran’s injury would keep him sidelined for the entirety of the series. Left-handed batter Shahid Kamal will be stepping into the squad as his replacement.
