Administrator D.M.C East Shoaib Ahmed Malik has said that in view of the orders of the higher judiciary, operations against encroachments are being carried out by the D.M.C east.
He expressed these views during the grand operation against encroachments in UC-18, 24 and 25 along with Municipal Commissioner Ghulam Sarwar Rahpoto,He warned the hospital and business holders that they should themselves eliminate encroachments in our jurisdiction otherwise roads and footpaths will be cleared by operations.
The operation against encroachments was carried out on the main roads and streets of Rab medical centre to Disco Bakery Gulshan Iqbal and Bahadurabad where encroachments on roads, footpaths, shops including cabins, metallic structure and other encroachments were demolished, hundreds of encroachments removed were made possible during the grand operation after which the situation in the said places has improved.
Citizens appreciated and said that such operations would help in the removal of encroachers.
He requested Administrator D.M.C East Shoaib Ahmed Malik and Municipal Commissioner Ghulam Sarwar Rahpoto to continue the operation against encroachments and ensure that encrochmenyare not re-established once are eliminated on which the said officers assured them, operation against encroachments will be continued and all efforts will be made to prevent encroachments from being re-established after the operation.
