Airport Police station Karachi team headed by Station House Office (SHO) Kaleem Moosa resolved the case of missing valuable mobile phones from cargo shipment within 24 hours and arrested the employee of cargo company along with mobile shop owner.
According to SHO Airport , a complainant namely Zeeshan Yaqoob on Thursday night reported at Airport Police Station that he is a business man and doing import export business, on 01/05/2021 and 01/07/2021 he booked 02 shipments of I-phones different models from Korea which was arrived at Gerrys Dnata Shade Cargo Terminal Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) Karachi.
He informed that, after clearance when he received his shipment he found that 06 Mobile Phones were missing from his first shipment and 25 I-phones were missing from 2nd shipment from Garry’s Dnanta’s Shade.
On this complain SHO Airport along with Intelligence Staff conducted inquiry and arrested 02 accused persons namely Syed Afroz Ahmed worker of Cargo company (Gerry’s Dnata) and Arshad (Mobile shop owner).
However Police has recovered 19 I-phones of different model and Cash rupees 8,90,000/- from them, and registered case vide FIR No. 215/2021 under section 380/34 PPC.
Whereas, Kaleem Moosa told that, Further investigations are under way.
