KDA Employees Union organized a corner meeting on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Land Department 3rd Floor of Civic Center Karachi. Speaking on the occasion, Navaid Anwar Siddiqui, Patron General of Employees Union said that today’s program is proving that KDA Employees Union is the largest union of KDA.
He stated that management should have to give respect to the union otherwise it could be happened that the anger of employees will take you away.
Let the trade union stop hypocrisy, If MQM is such a bad party, then why do you go to the headquarter of MQM to get support, he said.
On this occasion, Naveed Anwar Siddiqui said that the state institutions must take action against those who chanted slogans against Pakistan.
At the corner meeting, the chairman of union Muhammad Abdul Maroof said that he met the Director general of KDA several times in connection with the restoration of medical facilities for employees .In reply DG KDA told that they are bringing a new policy and the medical of the department is being given to an insurance company.
In this regard, the item note will be approved by the governing body and inshallah the medical facilities will be restored as soon as possible.
On this occasion, General Secretary of the Union Dilawar Khan said that the April 10, 2019 referendum has been challenged, Two years period have passed but the Labor Directorate is not announcing the date of the referendum in KDA.
Joint Committee Member Amir Muhammad, President Nadeem Khokhar, General Secretary Dilawar Khan, Deputy General Secretary Qamar Abbas, Committee Member Intikhab Alam, Shahid Saleem and Mr. Akbar Vice President Pervez Chishti, Sub Unit Land Department, Altaf Hussain , Jamil, Haseeb Sheikh , Noman Hashmi, Zulfiqar Bhai, Shehzad , Taha Dehlavi and Mohsin Siddiqui and PSP member Altaf Khan , who returned to MQM (Pakistan), was also present on the occasion.
At the end of the meeting, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the deceased employees of Land including other departments of Karachi Development Authority.
