Yutong Buses China agrees to set up plant in Sindh

 Yutong Buses China has agreed to set up public transport plant in Sindh. The plant will be set up in Karachi or Hyderabad.

This important development took place during a meeting between Provincial Minister for Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon and Paul Zhang, Country Manager Yutong Buses China on Thursday. He was accompanied by Service Head Yutong Wayner Wang.

The meeting agreed to prepare a concrete proposal in this regard by next week. The plant will be set up on 15 to 18 acres of land.

On the occasion, Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the transport department is making every effort to attract foreign investers to set up a public transport plant in Sindh.

This will improve the public transport sector and country will have foreign investment while new job opportunities will be created.

Secretary Transport Abdul Haleem Sheikh, Managing Director Sindh Mass Transit Authority Cap. ( R) Altaf Hussain Sario and National Radio Transmission Company Project Director Sohaib Shafiq were also present on the occasion.
