Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Shazia Atta Marri has chaired and introductory meeting with the officers of Pakistan Baitul Maal, Sindh heron today at Clifton Karachi.
The Director of Pakistan Baitul-ul-Maal, Dr Adnan Majeed gave a detailed briefing to the Federal Minister regarding the work of the organization and ongoing projects.
On this occasion, Federal Minister directed to the concerned officers to review the financial assistance provided by the Pakistan Baitul-ul-Maal to deserving students for their education purposes in view of the rising inflation rate and also send those suggestions to the concerned officers of head office of Bait-ul-Maal at Islamabad.
She directed them that a proper mechanism of psychological support should be set up for the children who are studying in the orphanages run administratly by the Bait-ul-Maal and provision of wheelchairs and others facilities should be provided to the differently abled and special persons.
She woved that efforts would be taken to increase the financial assistance of Rs. 60,000 for marriages of girls and poor deserving people.
Ms Marri said that she will talk with the Federal Ministry of Finance Department to increase the funds for the treatment of poor and deserving people and all administrative and financial issues are being faced by the Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Sindh will be resolved on priority.
