Patron-in-chief of the Arain community in Sindh, Brig (retired) Bashir Arain, on Tuesday announced his joining the Pakistan People’s Party along with his associates.
Brig (retired) Arain made the announcement to this effect as he met President of the Women Wing of the PPP, Faryal Talpur, at her residence in the city.
Also present on the occasion were Sindh Information and Labour Minister, Saeed Ghani, former Sindh Law minister, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Karachi Division President of People’s Lawyers’ Forum, Qazi Basheer Advocate.
Brig (retd) Basheer Arain on the occasion expressed complete confidence on behalf of the Arain community of the province in the leadership of PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
He said that Arain community in the province would fully support the PPP.
Those others who announced their joining the PPP included Engineer Tariq Mahmood Arain from Naushehro Feroze, Chaudhry Naseem Arain from Karachi, Muhammad Anees Arain, Chaudhry Shabeer Arain, Ahsanul Haq, Iftikhar Arain from Mirpurhas, Haji Khalid Arain from Digri, and Haji Ghulam Haider Arain.
