Unfair distribution of Special Grant will not be tolerated ; Asif Ali Memon DG KDA

Providing basic rights to the officers and employees of Karachi Development Authority(KDA) is one of the top priorities. This was stated by DG KDA while presiding over meeting at his office at Civic Center.
On the occasion, DG KDA Asif Ali Memon thanked CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah, Secretary Local Government and Secretary Finance and said that Sindh government would maintain the tradition of the past.
The institution provided financial support to the development, as evidenced by the recent approval of a special grant of one thousand million rupees to pay the dues of retired employees.
The special grant will pave the way for payment of arrears of retired employees and will open the door for betterment of officers and employees.
In this regard, a cell headed by Secretary KDA will be set up which will look into all these matters. DG KDA Asif Ali Memon strongly directed the concerned authorities to use the special grant for payment of dues of retired employees on the basis of merit.
Unfair distribution of special grants will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the perpetrators under the prevailing law. In this regard, a five-member committee is being set up to ensure proper and legal utilization of special grants. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held to enhance KDA recovery.
On this occasion, the DG KDA issued a special instruction to the Director Land to ensure payment of the second and third installment of the previous auction from the allottees to increase the sources of income of the institution.
Briefing the DG KDA, the Director Land said that the bid confirmation letters of the allottees have been sent to the existing address.
Finally, the DG KDA appreciated the tireless work and services of Chief Engineer Khalid Masroor for the organization and said that due to the positive steps taken by Khalid Masroor, the organization will soon be able to stand on its own feet.
