Briefing the media he said that we are among the lawmakers and respect the decisions of the judiciary but we are surprised at the orders of the Supreme Court to demolish Nasla Tower Karachi instead of regularizing it.
He demands that Institutions that have issued NOCs or legalized them should be brought to book immediately.
He expressed that Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam is on the side of the victims of Nasla Tower. He also questioned the authorities if the Nasla Tower is to be demolished then an alternative must be provided first to the residents, where is humanity in disconnecting electricity, water, and gas as well as other basic rights?
He wished that we also want this city to be clean instead of taking it as 50 years old Karachi.
Can we ask who gave the NOC in 2012? Who did the allotment? Who gave the lease? Everyone’s voice is spoiled.
Construction of the Nasla Tower building began in 2012 and was completed in 2016. People have been living here for the last 5 years by investing their savings he added.
Moreover, he demanded all those offices, including the builder, should be made a role model for the people of the societies who are involved in legalizing the Nasla tower.
