Chairman , Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stressed the need of timely completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Faiq asked the government to explain about snail pace on CPEC.
He emphasized that early completion of CPEC projects is essential for economic prosperity, future and development in the whole region.
Work on a fast-track basis is required for completion of Gwadar port, he added.
He asked to remove China’s apprehensions regarding security.
Faiq asserted that special economic zones (SEZs) should be completed on priority basis in order to overcome economic and employment issues.
Terming the ongoing political instability and anarchy in Balochistan as a conspiracy hatched by the enemy, the ATP chief suggested the issues should be resolved by making proper consultation with Baloch people.
The role and importance of the People’s Republic of China has been enhanced in the establishment of peace in Afghanistan, he noted.
He asked the U.S to avoid planning against China by putting pressure on airspace, otherwise, world peace would be at stake.
Mr Shah said the sustainable peace and stability, progress would change the destiny of the whole region, so the interim Afghan government should accept this challenge and take measures for the establishment of a durable setup in war-torn Afghanistan, which would be beneficial to the Afghan nation.
He viewed the extension in CPEC would prove an economic and social lifeline for billions of people living in this region.
