Special Assistant CM Sindh for Information Science and Technology Tanzeela Umme Habiba visits Civil Court Bar Matli
Special Assistant Chief Minister Sindh for Information Science and Technology Tanzeela Umme Habiba has said that lawyers have also made innumerable sacrifices for the survival of democracy which will always be remembered in golden letters.
She said that when Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan for the implementation of democracy, restoration of the constitution and the rights of the people and started the movement, party workers, civil society as well as lawyers also took an active part in the movement and also faced the punishment of imprisonment.
She expressed these views while talking to lawyers during her visit to Civil Court Bar Matli.
She said that the present government has snatched bread, cloth and houses from the people, to such an extent that the middle class has declined to lower class while the existence of the lower class has disappeared.
She shared that Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has started a movement against this selected government in which once again lawyers including civil society have to play their role.
On this occasion, the lawyers assured their full support to the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information Science and Technology and presented her the gift of traditional Sindh Ajrak.
Later, Tanzeela Umme Habiba also attended a reception in her honor on behalf of the Bheel community and explored their problems.
She thanked the Bheel community for the welcome and assured them of all possible solutions to their problems.
