Employees Union urges DG KDA for restoration of medical facilities


A Delegation of KDA Employees Union headed by Chairman Muhammad Abdul Maroof along with President Nadeem Khokhar and General Secretary Qamar Abbas met with DG KDA to discuss the issues of KDA workers medical facilities closure, deceased quota and other issues of department employees.

During meeting with Director General Karachi Development Authority M. Abdul Maroof stated that the medical facility for employees stopped from last more than one year, no hospital or even laboratory is now on the panel of KDA due to which employees are suffering.

DG KDA assured delegation that he would get approved the medical insurance policy from governing body.

Moreover he urged for the issuance of 29 deceased quota employees letters on a priority basis so that the family of deceased employees would not suffer in future.

In reply DG KDA Nasir Abbas Soomro assured delegation for the redressal of employees issues and told that deceased quota committee meeting would be called very soon.

At last KDA Employees Union delegation praised the efforts of DG KDA and Director Finance Taufeeq Soomro for the issuance of salaries before eid and stated that the union would stand with management for the betterment of department.
