National Commission for Interfaith Harmoney & Human Rights, Mirpurkhas Division observed anniversary of the Army Public School(Peshawar) carnage on Wednesday.
Fateha khuwani was held at Gulistan-e-baldia for the 144 persons mostly students who had fallen victim to the deadliest terrorist attack in the country’s history on December 16, 2014.
Alongwith the Human Rights Commission Mirpurkhas offic-bearers, journalists of local press club and other social organizations also participated in the programme.
Prayers were offered for the martyred children and teachers. Later, candles were lit at the press club to pay homage to the martyrs. The programme was led by Tauseef Malik, Central Coordinator of NCIHP&HR.

Talking to reporters at the Press Club, the participants said that they would never forget that day and such incidents could not dampen the spirits of the Pakistani nation and the Pakistan Army. They added that the entire nation saluted the Pakistan Army and pledged that they would never forget the sacrifices given by the Pakistani forces.
