Jamshed Foundation celebrates Sindhi Cultural Day


Jamshed Foundation (JF) celebrated Sindhi Cultural Day on Sunday. A large numbers of JF’s volunteers distributed traditional Sindhi Topi (Cap) and Ajrak in political workers, leaders, NGOs, students, laborers, villagers, associations, unions and women and children.

Boys and girls performed dance on this occasion in Thatta, Nawabshah (Shaheed Benazirabad) Karachi and other cities of Sindh, The Principal Huzoor Bux Khaskheli of district Thatta’s Higher Secondary School Ver highlighted regarding the importance of the Sindhi Cultural Day to the people gathered on the occasion.

After Cake cutting ceremony, the founder and the Chairman of JF, Jamshed Ali Khowaja Advocate spoke to the audience that we shock, when we visit the rural Sindh because of the continuous backwardness of the areas, there are lack of basic facilities, no water, electricity, gas and sewerage system while the condition of roads in rural areas hence the infrastructure has also destroyed.

He demanded provincial government to announce official holiday each year on the occasion of Sindhi Cultural Day.

Jamshed Ali Khowaja Advocate criticized provincial as well as federal government over the worst condition of schools and colleges and hospitals and rural dispensaries, he demanded that the provincial government arrange alternative arrangement for patients and provide at least basic medical treatment  for people of rural areas because most of the health centers and hospitals have closed due to coronavirus pandemic while the NCOC should send mobile medical teams and volunteers to test the rural people for COVID-19.

Principal Huzoor Bux Khaskheli of High Secondary School Ver District Thatta, Mohabbat Ali Khowaja, Muhammad Amin Khowaja, Social Worker Rehman Ali Khowaja, Muhammad Abbas Brohi, Barrister Sardar Habib Baloch, Haibat Khan Bhatti Advocate, Allahwaryo Kalu Advocate, Zeeshan Ali Khowaja Advocate, Asadullah Arbani Advocate, Samia Bakthani Advocate, Kulsoom Bilti Advocate, Muhammad Yousuf Mehar Advocate, Najma Perveen Advocate, & others were also present on the occasion.
