Due to unpaid fare of school’s building owner of school building and resident of Hashim Khaskheli union council Malh Abdullah Khaskheli has sent letter in shape of notice to education department in which he has written that department of education had taken his building on rent and started schooling in it in 1973 and paid him monthly rent regularly till 2009 but after that it has objected and finished paying rent of building cause of what future of more than 300 students of school has come at risk.
He further wrote in letter and said that he has sent applications and appealed to education department for due rent by the help of villagers and social workers namely Muhammad Essa, Muhammad Urs, Muhammad Akhtar, Abdul Hakeem and others but education administration has ever denied to pay rent in which lease document of building conditions are included.
He spoke to journalists and said that rural areas of Malir have not been leased since 73 years of country including them Hashim village so from where he will bring building lease documents. He warned department of education in letter that department pay him 11 years rent of building otherwise empty building till 31 December if not then he will knock court’s door.
After that students of school and their parents have become much worry. Social leaders said that they have been to their elected representatives and government since 1973 for school building but they had done rather than promises which is clear proof of their non-intrust regarding students and education.
They demanded education department officials to pay rent of school building and also construct new building of school as soon as possible.
